Grace Reed's Photo Story

It’s 7:30 in the am and I can’t believe I actually made it to the airport. I hope this trip to Atlanta goes smoothly.

Yes! I’m official. I have my boarding pass. Now on to the hard part…great!

Soo it feels like I’ve been walking for days and making absolutely no progress; hall after hall, stairwell after stairwell. I really beginning to believe that I’m not going to make it.

I finally got smart and hopped on the train. What a relief!

After a two hour flight and finding my way through another huge airport, I’m approaching the final stages of my travel.

A little new to this traveling thing… I needed extra assistance while checking into the hotel. Thank goodness the receptionists were such friendly people. Now all I need is a nap.

These numbers became my best friends for the weekend. Home away from home.

I arrived safe and sound and immediately took a well deserved nap. It was all that I imagined it to be.

Why is my room always the messiest? And is that a bottle of Ranch dressing?!

A tipped over trash can and no one to be found, never a good sign.

Who says fraternity parties can't be classy, that's champagne, the good stuff, the $5 kind.

Well at least one of us had a good time last night, too bad that's not his bed.

I really hope no one tried to climb the beer bong... again.

Thank God those guys woke up before I did.

You know, its just too bright out to clean today.

(1. We begin our journey in the early morning. Tired and blurry eyed, we struggle to make it outside the city limits.

(2. We are making good time as we travel down the coast, leaving what we are familiar with in our rear view mirror.

(3. Ominous clouds appear on the horizon and we brace ourselves for the storm.

(4.Just as we are making jokes about tornadoes, one appears before our eyes.

(5. What began as a claw cloud quickly balooned into what would become the first tornado any of us had ever seen in person.

(6. Having driven through the worst of the storm, which wasn't as bad as we were all expecting, we relax with a cool beverage knowing that soon we will reach our destination.

(7. We arrive on the gulf coast, leaving the storm clouds behind us almost as though someone had flipped a switch and shut the rain off.

Chelsea Sexauer's Photo Story - Life as my Cat Tigger....

This is Tigger, Tiggy for short, two days after
I adopted her in July. She seems to be growing
way to fast.

Tiggy, now five months old, love to lounge
on my bed typically taking up half the bed.

Like any cat she tends to be very curious of
everything around her, even of my lens
photographing her.

Like any cat she gets hungry. And needs her
energy for the many activities through out
the day.

Tiggy loves to be on the lookout 7 stories up,
watching cars, birds and people go by.
Sometimes, she thinks she can actually get to
the birds.

Tiggy has many strange behaviors, like drinking
water from a bottle I am trying to drink.

Like all kittens, Tiggy is extremely playful. She
loves to play with any type of strings, bags,
rolled up paper and even straws.

She really loves her crinkle tunnel. She runs in
and out and even hides in there and if feet walk
by she will attack, playfully!

But after a long day or morning (cause she
likes to stay up all night) she tends to get tired
after her activities and running around.
So her next step.....

Her cat naps....She tends to take my bed over.

Hello. Meet my nephew, Christopher. He is pretty much your average 3-year old, until it comes to Wrestling. He loves the WWE and almost every superstar in it. Here is a mini survivor's guide to dealing with a 3-year old wrestler.

Ever since he started talking, he has been imitating WWE superstars. From their entrances to their signature moves he just about knows it all. Today, he is Rey Mysterio.

When Chris is "in character" he won't answer to his name. You MUST call him by his character's name. Otherwise, you won't get a response. This U.S. Champion belt, which is the size and weight of the actual belt, was a Christmas present and is his most prized possession.

Here's a little advice: if he is "in character" and you think he may try to come at you, chances are that he is plotting it. After this shot was taken, he did attempt to charge at me, just as I suspected!

Showing off his ginormous muscles is one of his many scare tactics. Don't be fooled, one good body slam on the couch and its all over.

He usually starts off like this. You'll look at him and think he's just playing around "in character" and then BAM! A nice sweet chin comes out of nowhere.
For non-wrestling fans: Sweet Chin refers to The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michael's signature move. It is pretty much a nice, swift kick right in the face.

It might seem a little crazy to you, but I find it amazing that I really do get beat up by my 3-year old nephew. After he starts to get crazy with himself, and he will more often than not, all you need is one good move to get him down.

After all is said and done, he turns back into a normal 3-year old. He wants his SpongeBob blanket, some milk and somewhere to snuggle up and pass out. But if you ask me, this is the best time for paybacks for all those sweet chins!!!

In towns across America, the local coffee shop plays many roles. As Buck County Coffee greets a new day, the store prepares for its usual assortment of characters.

Espresso is the name of the game adding a punch to everyone's favorite drinks. It fuels the crowd offering its signature pick-me-up effect.

Businesspeople and freelancers alike use the shop as a de facto office. The store is often filled with people working away on their laptops.

Some come simply to meet up with friends and share a laugh over their favorite beverage. The store is a popular meeting place for people of all ages.

Sometimes, worlds collide illustrating the diverse and contrasting nature of the store's crowd.

As the day draws to its close, the coffee shop, whether having served as an office, clubhouse, or cafe, has hopefully lived up to its motto.
